By using the TakeDose app ("the app") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What TakeDose is
TakeDose is a personal medication reminder and tracking tool. It schedules reminders on your device based on the information you enter and lets you record whether you took a dose.
2. Not medical advice
The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, dosing recommendations or drug-interaction checks. The medication list offered for autocomplete is for convenience only and may be incomplete or outdated. Always follow the instructions of your doctor or pharmacist and the medication leaflet. Never change a treatment based on the app alone.
3. Reminders are not guaranteed
Reminder delivery depends on your device: operating-system settings, battery optimisation, notification permissions, Do Not Disturb modes and the device being switched on. TakeDose cannot guarantee that a reminder is delivered or delivered on time. Do not rely on the app as your only safeguard for critical medication.
4. Your account and data
You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your account secure. How we process your data is described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and all data at any time from Settings.
5. Managing medication for others
You may use the app to manage reminders for family members and share a profile with other users. You confirm that you are entitled to do so and that they agree to their information being stored under your account and shown to the people you share it with.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app, attempt to access other users' data, or interfere with the service.
7. Availability and changes
The app is provided free of charge and "as is". We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. Paid features, if introduced later, will have their own terms shown before purchase.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, TakeDose and its developer are not liable for any damage arising from missed or late reminders, incorrect information entered by the user, or use of the app contrary to medical advice.
9. Governing law and contact
